Soluble polymer sizing agent replacing PVA, improving starch flexibility and weaving efficiency.

Properties

• Synthetic polymer, slightly anionic.
• White granular powder.
• pH (solution at 80°C): 5.0 – 7.0.
• Viscosity (4% solution at 82°C): 6 – 8 sec (Zell cup).
• Forms clear, flexible solutions for warp sizing.
• Resistant to high humidity, enhancing weaving efficiency.
• Reduces yarn hairiness and loom stops.
• Easily removable at 85°C in water or with detergent or caustic/bleaching pretreatment.
• Low solids

Uses

• Mix with starch up to 5% of starch weight to partially or fully replace PVA.
• Prepare by dispersing in cold water and cooking at 85°C for 30 minutes.
• Used for sizing indigo warps and greige fabrics.
