Casdiwhite BAB 1000

High-concentration optical brightener

Concentrated optical brightener for blueish white tones on multiple fiber types.

Properties

• Stilbene disulphonic acid derivative.
• Anionic character.
• Blue/violet powder.
• pH (1% solution): 9.0 – 10.0.
• Highly soluble (20 – 50 g/l).
• Stable in peroxide and reductive bleaching baths.
• Good alkali stability up to pH 11.
• High affinity for fibers, ideal for exhaustion processes.
• Good washing, light, and perspiration fastness.

Uses

• Cellulose fibers: 0.05 – 0.3% CASDIWHITE BAB 1000%, 70–120°C, 15–30 min.
• Polyamide fibers: 0.05 – 0.5% CASDIWHITE BAB 1000%, 90–120°C, 10–30 min.
• Wool and silk fibers: 0.05 – 0.3% CASDIWHITE BAB 1000%, 80–120°C, 20–40 min.
• Optional: Add 5 g/l common salt or sodium sulfate to slightly improve exhaustion.
• Use appropriate sequestering agents to avoid interference from metals like iron, copper, or zinc.
