Nonionic polyurethane emulsion used in leather finishing for flexibility, fullness, and pleasant touch. Good lightfastness and dry milling behavior.

Properties

• Nonionic character allows use in both anionic and cationic systems.
• Forms soft and flexible films.
• Provides body, roundness, and a pleasant hand feel.
• Good dry milling behavior and lightfastness.
• Approximately 15% solids, pH ~8.0, translucent liquid.

Uses

• As a main or auxiliary binder in cationic finishing systems.
• Also suitable as binder in anionic formulations.
• Recommended for finishing lightweight leathers for footwear or garments.
